    [ DESCRIPTION ]:

    - This application allows you to update your console's firmware installing only the
    needed applications (IOS, System Menu, channels...).

    Thanks to it you can keep some features like Trucha bug that affected first IOS
    versions.


    [ REQUISITES ]:

    - 150-250 free blocks.
    - Internet connection.


    [ HOW TO USE ]:

    - Run the application with any method to load homebrew and the update will be done
    automatically.


    [ KUDOS ]:

    - Team Twiizers and devkitPRO -> libogc
    - frontier -> libpng
    - All my betatesters.

      Did anybody try this one ?

      The day I'm not able to play some game I really want, I will be the first one to test :-))))))

      Also the support for the bigger SD cards...
      I've been reading and you still have to copy the game to the flash memory of the wii to play !!

          Further info about the official update....

          Released on 25/03/2009

          ##WARNING##UPDATING MAKES THE Wii UNSOFTMODDABLE FOR NOW.

          New Features:

          1. You are now able to install and run Virtual Console , WiiWare and Channels directly to and from SD or SDHC(38gb) cards.
          NOTE: You cannot install hacked wads to sd card as of yet, so no channels, wiiware games
          and virtual console games installed using wadmanger will run from SD yet.

          2. Better save manager system.

          3. New IOS FILES, 60, 61, 38 and 16(to block hacks).


          What's Broken:

          Cannot install homebrew channel.
          Cannot use twilight hack save.
          Cannot use IOS16 to install stuff.
          You are able to move installed wads from wadmanager to SD but they will fail on
          loading and you can't move them back to the Wii system.

          ##DO NOT MOVE CHANNELS THAT YOU DIDN'T BUY TO SD YET##

          What's Working:

          Homebrew Channel if already installed before the update.
          DVDX if installed before update.
          Backuplauncher with CIOS249 if installed before update.
          Wad manager if installed before the update (yes can install new wads).


          If you are already on 3.4 then make sure you have installed newest CIOS and all channels you want before updating to 4.0

          after the update you will have full control still aslong as you already installed stuff before updating
