Black Wii. mod the drive

i have a black wii and i have it soft moded, it was a while ago i did tis . can the dvd drive be modded now or do i still stick with the softmod..??

Modding the drive won't help you play dvdr. It is the drive chip that causes the problem. You would be as well to buy a second hand wii with a manufacture date before 2009 or 2008 to be ultra safe. This rules out any colour other than white.

I wasn't sure on how to mod the drive to play dvdr other than a soft mod. As I would need a later model to do this ill stick with my soft mod. Cheers guys...
