help with wii games

thanks m8 in the end i had to change the boot.elf to boot.dol to get it to work my new sysCheck is this and at the end of all this the games still dont work toy story 3 gets stuck on startup also Boogie Superstar also gets stuck on startup maybe more will have alook tomorrow all these games worked before i put wii in the loft some mths back ???

You are missing ios 236 and don't have ios 36 patched so I don't know how you managed to install d2x v8 as they should be installed into the 236 slot. Have you done a clean install of the latest version of your preffered loaders. Don't update as the config files may be corrupt

Well I've just tried Toy Story 3 and it works perfectly. The main problem with games that don't run/black screen/lockup is a bad download.

That's you all sorted now. Just remember if you still have problems the loaders are as much a part of making the games work as the cios are, so remove all traces of old loaders and install latest versions with a clean install (especially if your using gx as it has changed dramatically just recently)

hi m8 did not get a chance to down from the link you sent m8 the toy story 3 i had was working when i put it on hdd was played for mths , after all the updates some of the games are still not working anyone know what the ios in the game settings should be ????

Almost all games load from ios 249[56] with the exception of cod games that use 250[57] and most mic games use an ios with a base of [37] or [38] same with dual layer.....I have just noticed you are still missing ios 236 but ios 36 is now patched so should be ok

Billy as I've told users in other threads if you want to check for updates use ModMii in Windows. Use the SU option (SysCheck Update) which scans your sysCheck.csv from sysCheck and it downloads any updated wads needed. It should add IOS236-v5-Mod folder in the apps folder so it installs IOS36 into IOS236. IOS36-64-v3351.wad must be on the root of the SD card for this to work.

Try another usb loader, the latest Cfg is loading toy story 3 with 247 for me without any problems, give it a go.
