Hi all,

The kids are determined to buy this game with the " Rip-off Portal of Power" for 70E ish.

I have a softmodded wii 4.0-4.1 with almost up-to-date cios and Priiloader installed - see end of post for syscheck



I have 2 questions that I hope some-one can help me with:

1. will this game work with my current system or is a further mod necessary. If necessary, what do i do ?
2. some versions of this game (PC) come with a USB powered Portal of Power and some with wifi (Wii i think). will the PC version work with the wii as it would cut down on battery usage ?

i've seen a couple of posts about skylanders but not many replies - is there anyone playing this on a softmodded Wii ?

Well Skylanders Giants is a new game as with Wii games there isn't normally a minimum system spec to play it. Download it and try it, if it works then buy it.

You will probably need a motion plus controller.

Your sysCheck looks ok.

probably wont work without the add-on Portal. that's needed to switch between characters i think !

I'm trying it and its asking for USB wirleless receiver/Portal of Power. I assume this is part of the full package you buy?

Unless you can Google if it will work on your Wii then I don't think its worth the risk of buying it and it doesn't work.
