Excited Nintendo fans lined up for hours yesterday in hopes that they could be one of the very first owners of The new Wii U gaming system. The Wii U is Nintendo's first 1080p HD console and with it's amazing tablet style controller it's sure to please.
Following a long tradition of weak security Nintendo has once again overlooked crucial holes in their implementation of Wii Backwards compatibility and of course hackers are quick to exploit. Using the Wii U in Wii mode and the Wii game Smash Bros an exploit known as the Smash Stack enables hackers to load a Wii homebrew file explorer on the Wii U.
Wile it is very early and this exploit does not give any access to the actual Wii U side of the system I must say this is amazing progress for launch day.
