updating wii without wifi

I have a used game, just dance 2, It won't let me play the game until I update. Bummer, I don't have a wireless connection to my wii, so no update. This was planned obsolescence. I bought a wii usb, only works with windows xp, I am running windows. can you do an update from a sd card.

What version is your Wii at the moment?

Is your Wii softmodded?

You don't need to do any system update to play games of an external USB drive, all the 3 Just Dance games work, providing its softmodded.

Either that or you get a WiFi or cable connection for your Wii.
