    Help With Newer Games Please

    hi there i bought this wii of a friend and i had played backed up games at his house but i have downloaded games and burnt them using alcohol 120 at 8x and tried playing them using neogamma r9 b56, d2x56v8final (249) but all i get is reset drive then dvd error. i am new to this so am unsure as to why it wont work...... mainly my girl want to play mario party 8 if that helps anymore.

    Well that sysCheck looks ok to me. Burnt games aren't really worth making when you have an external USB HDD.

    My Mario Party 8 & 9 both work on mine.

    Oh when you burn games you do it at a slow speed 2x not 8x and they generally do it with ImgBurn its free. Burnt games don't work for me either is shows a DVD read error 1167 with NeoGamma.

      you could try downloading modmii and just reinstall every thing on the wii again just let modmii set up your memory card and follow the tutorial or try connecting your wii to the internet but do not update it reject update request then go to the disc launcher your useing and see if there are any options to update via the internet and same with the wads manager and the homebrew channel they should be able to update to the newest version (DO NOT UPDATE THE WII WITH THE NINTENDO UPDATE IT WILL BRICK IT)

        will give the modmii ago first if no joy then will try burning again at 2x like you you say keith and with imgburn hopefully that will produce results if not then hdd. thanks for the help guys will let you know the outcome

          The sysCheck says PriiLoader Installed so if he's set it right it won't do any online or disc updates.
