    Problem with other region games.

I've been having a reoccurring problem with the Wii that I just can't fix.

The problem is that my PAL Wii cannot play backups of any game that isn't PAL, the thing that's bothering me is that it used to be able to.

It also couldn't use DIOS MIOS either, it would start up the games but the controller would stop working.

I spent hours on end looking for fixes and updating cIOS until I gave up and bought a Black Wii from a friend who was trying to get rid of it.

I softmodded it the same way as my White Wii and for some reason everything worked, I could play Wii games from any region and DIOS MIOS worked with no problems at all it was fantastic but about a week later I tried to boot a Japanese game and it wouldn't.

I hadn't installed or updated anything and somehow it's become the same as my white Wii apart from the latest DIOS MIOS update let's me play GameCube games but only PAL region ones.

I just can't figure out why it's only other region games that don't work, is there a specific set of cIOS for different regions or something.

I don't have DIOS MIOS because I don't bother with GameCube games.

In PriiLoader there is an option to use Region Free (RF) so it plays any region game. I've never used that on mine but you could give that a try,

That's really weird then, I've tried all the USB loaders and I've tried messing with the settings like switching it to Japanese and forcing video modes but none of them make a difference. But I don't think I needed to change any settings when I got it to work before.

It's not a bad dump because I've dumped it several times and I've tried a PAL game which worked.

And I really can't see the TV being the problem either because it's the same TV that played it last time.

Also I already had the Region Free set on PriiLoader.
