4.3E Priiloader problem

Hello,

I am trying to softmod my 4.3E Wii.
My progress until now:

- installed Homebrew Channel 1.1.0 through Letterbomb
- NAND backup
- installed Priiloader 0.7

When I select "System Menu Hacks" in Priiloader menu it says:
"Can't find hacks_hash.ini on FAT Device. Can't find hacks_hash.ini on NAND."

I have the hacks_hash.ini on the SD Card that I installed Priiloader with, both in the Priiloader folder and in the root.
I tried with SD Card in Wii and without, same result.

Anyone know why is this happening or what am I doing wrong?

Welcome to DK.

These ini files can be a bit strange where they are located. The hacks.ini should be on the root of the SD card and hacks_hash.ini in the PriiLoader folder. These files aren't that big so you could put them in both locations.

Check the attributes of the ini files as it has to write to them make sure its not Read Only. After you have changed your setting and exit PriiLoader take the SD card out and check the date on both files files, you will see that only hacks.ini has been changed.

If you want to you could post a sysCheck as instructed in that link so we can see that all the correct wads are installed.

I managed to make it work by reinstalling Priiloader but this time I have downloaded the hacks_hash.ini from here:
priiloader: hacks_hash.ini not found | GBAtemp.net -> The Free Independent Video Game Community: 3DS, NDS, Wii, GBA, PSP, Hacking, Dingoo, PS3, Xbox 360...
and put it in the /apps/Priiloader/ folder on the SD.
I've enabled "Block Disk Updates" and "Block Online Updates".

I continued with this guide from here:

installed wads through MMM and WAD Manager.
All 19 wads installed ok.

Guess my Wii is softmoded now.

Now I have another question:
Can I play games from 16Gb USB Flash drive?

I installed WBFS Manager 3.0 on my laptop but when I try formating my flash drive it says:
"An error occurred while attempting to format the drive."

I've selected the correct drive letter for the flash drive.

Never mind, problem solved, just had to remove flash and insert it in laptop usb again and it worked. It's formatted now.
