removing icons/apps from main screen

I am baffled by this, how can I uninstall/remove the icon/app on the main Wii screen - I know you use wad installer to install it

I am sure it is so easy and simple but for the life of my cant work it out.

Use Wad Manager. Start it up, highlight the one you want to remove and press - to uninstall. (+ to install, - to unistall).

Or you can go into the Data Management option of Wii Settings, go the Channels and just delete the ones you don't want.
