USB loader gx error/no USB found

    Hi,
I softmodded my Wii recently after my disc drive stopped working. I followed the steps on this tutorial & I downloaded the USB loader from here.

When loading USB loader GX I get this error: usbloader requires at least cIOS 222 or 245-250.

Once open I get "USB Device not found. Switching to channel list mode".

Based on another post here, it seems like this (Usbloader gx 2.3 r1128 and d2x v7 with mmm 13.4 - Downloads - Digital Kaos) would solve my problem, but I'm not entirely sure.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

    Welcome to DK.

You need to post a sysCheck19 report as instructed in that link so I can see which IOS's you've installed.

You need to download The ultimative All-In-One package for USB Loader GX v3.0 (boot IOS 249) there is no point in downloading the old USB Loader GX 2.3.

Thats a typical Wii thats been softmodded as you have 16 IOS's that are stub which you need to bring down to 4 or 5.

Now you have the sysCheck.csv file on the root of the SD card from the sysCheck is download ModMii6. 2.6 and run it from Windows. On the main menu type in SU and type in the location of the sysCheck.csv. Its easier to put this on the root of a drive as it saves typo's.

That will download all wads and apps that are missing into a COPY_TO_SD sub folder. Add all files and folders to your SD card and run Homebrew with the SD card inserted.

First of run IOS236 Installer from Homebrew and install IOS36 as IOS236. Come back out and run Multi-Mod-Manager and select WAD Manager this will default to the wad folder install all wads in there. Watch for the Installed OK message after each one. If any don't install just try them again.

Now ModMii only installs 2 d2x v8.0 wads so you may as well install all the others. d2x v8.0 final pack

You need to install PriiLoader 0.7 to block any online or disc updates.

If you want to remove the IOS16 stub just add cIOS16-v257 wad to the wad folder and install it with MMM, this won't improve anything only remove the stub.

You can post a new sysCheck afterwards.
