    uloader out of memory

Hi and thanks for reading this post.

I place wiiware games into uloader on external hdd, and they work fine, the first dozen or so.

After that games do not load anymore and i get the message "out of memory."

If i go into the hdd and delete the uloader folder and replace with a fresh one, sometimes it starts working again and games play normally.

At the moment it will not play any games at all, no matter what i do. I have tried placing uloader on a different hdd entirely by itself, but still no good.

What is this memory that uloader keeps referring to. Is it wii system memory, or perhaps a folder somewhere inside uloader.

    Many thanks in advance. John.

I don't know why your using uloader just for wiiware games as it old they aren't worth it.

Out of Memory can be you have to many saved games on the Wii. Go into Wii Options, keep clicking the left picture until you see the games stored. Look at the number bottom right Free Blocks thats how much memory you have left I have 1580. If your down to 200-300 move some to an SD card that will save space. If you want to use that game again just copy it back.

Please post a sysCheck19 report as instucted in that link so I can see what IOS's are installed?

Hi. Sorry couldn't find a reply button, only reply with quotes.

I have 500 blocks free on the wii, i mean 500 blocks is a fair amount of blocks, why is it not saving to these blocks.

okay, have downloaded the system check thingy, will install today and get back results to you tomorrow.

        Many thanks. John.

SysCheck only gives 1 sysCheck.csv file on the root of the SD card.

Whats that John thats not a readable sysCheck report as instructed in my link.

Just open sysCheck.csv with WordPad and copy and paste all the text shown so it looks like mine.

Hi Keith. Thanks for the reply.

Syscheck gave me two files for some reason, but i will run it again, perhaps there is an option i need to enable somewhere.

Earlier you mentioned that uloader is old and perhaps not the best option for running wiiware. The reason i use it is because it is so easy. I just copied the games into the uloader folder and it did all the work. A minute later they popped up ready to play.
I tried wii flow and it would not work for me. I had did to d/l the app, then hunt around for the doll file, then find show me wads, then inject the games. It was a long drawn out process.

              Thank you. John

                  That looks better.

You have IOS223[37] try installing the IOS223 from Full Cios wad pack as it should be Base 38.

While you're downloading install all 7 wads from d2x v8.0 Final wad pack as you only have 2 of them installed.

If you want to remove that IOS16 Stub install my cIOS16-v257.wad it won't improve anything only remove that Stub.

Hi. Thanks for the reply, much appreciated.

Is there any way i can install wii flow to play wiiwads, the problem is when i installed uloader for wii wads it needed a few ios's, which stopped gxloader from playing gamecube back ups via dios mios 2.5.

I tried installing wii flow before but could not get it to work, is there ios's i need to install.

Also, is there an easy way to clear up some free blocks in the wii memory, it is taking too long clearing them one at a time, i thought of using the format option, but would that clear the blocks or would it delete other stuff.

                    Thank you.

I don't know that WiiFlow uses any special wads all 3 USB Loaders work on mine and every Wii I've ever softmodded though I've never played any wii wads games.

There is no quick way to free up the memory blocks. I've never needed to format a Wii but Nintendo say What is Lost After Formatting the System Memory?

I've posted my sysCheck and you have yours check the differences.

                        Hi. Thanks for the reply.

I am not very computer literate, where is the best place to download wii flow for wiiware, with the easiest and simplest instructions to follow.

                        Thank you

Well I don't bother with Wii ware games as they are waste of time and space. You can download WiiFlow 4.1.3 and add it to the SD card. If you want a Forwarder Channel so it shows on the Wii menu then download it and follow the instructions.

I personally would stick with USB Loader GX

                            Hi. Quick update.

I installed the wads but just checked, and my gamecube backups on external hdd have stopped working ( via dios mios and gxloader)

Tried to google which cios dios mios needs, but can't find anything.

Can you advise in any way.

I don't want to update the dios mios or gxloader as they are working absolutely fine.

                            Many thanks. John.

Not really as I don't use gamecube games or wiiware, just Google this again.
