wii update help

can anyone help me or direct me to a forum who can answer my problem is it ok to update my wii to the new firmware if i have a wiikey fitted by the menu update on my wii

i have just updated my wii to firmware 4.1e and is working ok with a wii key fitted also new games are working which need firmware 4.1e
