    more USB loader problems

Ok ive read some other posts about usb loader problems. i know you need a copy of my syscheck to tell me exactly what the problem is, im just not quite sure how to do that or i would already have it on here. ive tried a couple different fixed i could find for the USB loader but after many failed attemps im back at square 1 with the ol "requires cIOS 222 or 245-250"

    EDIT: did syscheck

    sysCheck v2.1.0b19 by Double_A and R2-D2199, Nano...runs on IOS58 (rev 6176).

    Welcome to DK.

As you may have read on here thats a typical sysCheck of a Wii thats only been softmodded as you have 16 IOS's that are Stub. You do have IOS36 and IOS236 that's all but you need to reduce that 16 down to 4 or 5..

Download ModMii6.2.7 and run it from Windows. Use the SU option from the main menu and find the location of the sysCheck.csv from the sysCheck which is on the root of the SD card. That will download all missing wads and apps to COPY_TO_SD sub folder just add all files and folders to the SD card.

ModMii only installed 2 d2x v8.0 wads download d2x v8 Final wad pack and install all 7 wads when you install the other wads.

Put the SD card back in the Wii and run Homebrew. You already have IOS236 but it won't hurt to install it again. Run IOS236 Installer v5 Mod first before you install any other wads. Multi Mod Manager should be the first app listed select it and load it. Once running scroll down to WAD Manager and press 'A' that will default to all wads in the wad folder. If you want to install all wads shown just press 1 that will list all wads you want to install press 'A' again to install them all.

Watch for the Installed OK message after each one. If any don't say that message make a note of the wad name and back out. Scroll down to the wad that didn't install and press the + button the put a green + next to it then press 'A' to see that wads name listed then press 'A' to install again.

Download PriiLoader 0.7 add it to the SD card and run it from Homewbrew and set it to block online and disc updates, you can turn off the 'A' safety prompt on startup I do.

If you have to update to 4.3 then the Shopping Channel may work. If it doesn't without doing another system update don't bother just install my RVL-Shopping-21

Do another sysCheck to make sure everything installed correctly and post that.

Then you just have a to find a compatible mains powered USD hard drive to add your games onto and download USB Loader GX 3.0 to run them.

it seems to be working. it even installed the USB Loader channel to the wii homepage. now my problem is the USB loader isnt reading my thumbdrive. i used WBFS Manager 3.0 to format the thumbdrive and add Brawl and Xenoblade Chronicles to it, checked a dozen different times. the power indicator comes on when its plugged into the wii but USB loader isnt detecting it

EDIT: both of the games are .iso i read somewhere that you can format the HD to FAT32 and just have a wbfs folder with the wbfs games in the folder, i may try this eventually but i would like to get it to work as it is now considering i already have the .iso's for both games

EDIT 2: got both games working (kinda). Smash bro's works fine. Xenoblade is in black and white and the screen isnt fitting to my tv, the displayed immage is way to big and i dont see any way to resize it. might just be a bad copy, idunno, im new to wii iso's

There is nothing wrong with that sysCheck now though its funny you had IOS36 installed now it has No Patches the same as mine. If you want to remove that IOS16 Stub install my cIOS16-c257 wad that won't improve your problem only remove that Stub.

Now flash drives are really worth using as they don't hold much. Even if you buy the biggest around 128MB that will cost you a lot more than buying a mains powered external USB hard drive.

Now I use WBFS Manager and its worked great for the past 2 years. I've also tried a 4GB flash drive but a game iso is about 4.6GB so they won't fit on I had to use Wii Game Manager (Google it) as that will only add WBFS files which are a quarter of the size into a wbfs folder. That will convert an iso to wbfs and that worked perfectly on the 4 games I added to it.

The newer USB Loaders GX included will allow FAT32 or NTFS formatted drives.
