How do I create unlimited channels for WiiWare games, etc?

Hi. On my soft-modded Wii, I have all the Wii Ware games, but I think you can only create like 48 channels on the Wii Memory, unless you have "emulated memory" or nand or something. I don't even know what that means.

Can someone please help me so that it installs the wad files to my sd card or hard drive so that I have more memory for channels?

Also, is there a way to play wad games without installing channels?

    Thanks.

    Noob Scissorhands.

Post a sysCheck19 report as instructed I that link so I can see which IOS's you've installed.

I don't bother with Wii Ware games but that sysCheck has 14 IOS's that are Stub you need to reduce that to 3 or 4 if you want to run games of an external USB hard drive.

As I've posted many many times on here.

Download ModMii6.3.1 and run ModMii.exe from Windows. Use the SU option from the main menu and find the location of the sysCheck.csv from the sysCheck which is on the root of the SD card. That will download all missing wads and apps to COPY_TO_SD sub folder just add all files and folders to the SD card.

ModMii only installed 2 d2x v8.0 wads download d2x v8 Final wad pack and put these in the wad folder on the SD card, install all 7 wads when you install the other wads.

Put the SD card back in the Wii and run Homebrew. Run IOS236 Installer v5 Mod first before you install any other wads. Multi Mod Manager (MMM) should be the first app listed select it and load it. Once running scroll down to WAD Manager and press 'A' that will default to all wads in the wad folder. If you want to install all wads shown just press 1 that will list all wads you want to install press 'A' again to install them all.

Watch for the Installed OK message after each one. If any don't say that message make a note of the wad name and back out. Scroll down to the wad that didn't install and press the + button the put a green + next to it then press 'A' to see that wads name listed then press 'A' to install again.

Download PriiLoader 0.7 add it to the SD card and run it from Homebrew and set it to block online and disc updates, you can turn off the 'A' safety prompt on startup I do.

Thanks. I think I installed Priiloader. It took me a while to figure out that I have to hold down the reset key to get it to load. :P

But.. I noticed I can't exit to the Homebrew Channel from it, i can get an error that says something like "Maybe it's not installed?" But it is installed. It will let me choose the option to exit to the Wii's Main Menu, but not to the HC. Do you know how i fix this?

Btw, do I need priloader if I already have Bootmii installed as boot2? Isn't that redundant? And also do i have to worry about disk updates if Nintendo has shut down their servers for the Wii. They shut them down in May.

And, will the hacks I installed on Priiloader work if I load my Wii normally without using Priiloader? Like the region free stuff, etc.. or do I always need to load it using Priiloader for those to work?

          Did I install Priiloader wrong?

There is a folder called APPS and another folder called EXTRA, and then in the root are two files: GPL and READMEH
AND then... in the apps folder there is the PRILOADER folder, and then in the EXTRA folder there is another zip file called LOAD PRILOADER and inside of that are two sub folders called INCLUDE and SOURCE and like 5 files (.boot, .dol. .elf .sln, and makefile). And, in the root of that second zip folder there are a few files as well.

I was confused by the zip folder inside the sub folder that is in the main zip folder.

Btw, you didn't tell me to download the hacks.ini file but I found out about that in a google search, so i put it in the root of the sd card. Is that right?

And finally... Is there a way to load WiiWare wads from my HD instead of the SD card?

And.. is there a way to play wad games without installing them as channels?

Your help is much appreciated. Thanks!

            ps:

I uninstalled and then reinstalled the HBC. And Priiloader still wouldn't exit to it, but I found a workaround here:

What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Install Homebrew Channel 1.1.2 (HackMii Installer 1.2) 2. Install Priiloader 0.7 3. Try to load Homebrew Channel from Priiloader What is the expected outpu...

Q:"Can you update Priiloader to realize that HBC now uses LULZ as its title?"

A:"ye the new titleID isn't added yet. use the boot title menu to boot it "

            That worked for me! Yay!

Why doesn't it work normally though? :P

That first sysCheck didn't show PriiLoader that's why I told you to install, the second sysCheck shows its installed. PriiLoader can be a bit awkward sometimes it will say can't find hacks.ini even though its on the root of the SD card, you can forget can't find password file. Just power the Wii off and start it and it installs no problem.

That second sysCheck looks correct its the same as mine http://syscheck.softwii.de/MKWDueNa

There is only 3 things you need to disable with PriiLoader block online and disc updates, you can turn off the 'A' safety prompt on startup I do.

"I was confused by the zip folder inside the sub folder that is in the main zip folder."

There shouldn't be any extra zips on the SD card unless you have downloaded updates from USB Loader GX.

"Btw, you didn't tell me to download the hacks.ini file but I found out about that in a google search"

The ini files are this the PriiLoader download link I gave you PriiLoader 0.7
