USB Loader GX and CFG Loader not detecting my Hard Drive

Playing backups again on my wii after a long time. I remember that my hard drive use to work on my wii, but now it just doesn't work anymore

I used to have a WBFS partition on my hard drive (pre-FAT32 wii days) but now I've reformatted my entire hard drive so that games should load off of an NTFS partition ([YOUR DRIVE]:/WBFS/Game Title[Title ID].wbfs)

Now, USB Loader GX and CFG loader won't even see my hard drive (device not responding error on CFG)

    Can anyone help

a syscheck has been posted below

    Welcome to DK.

I don't see anything wrong with that sysCheck its the same as mine. I assume your plugging that drive into the correct USB port the one nearest the edge?

If the same drive used to work before then it must be compatible.

Alright… so it's supposed to work

I've power cycled my wii with my HDD in slot 0 a few times already and yet it still doesn't work

I've noticed that the cable that I'm using now is different to the one that I used before when the HDD did work. Could that be the case?

(Imation Apollo 2.5" HDD, if anyone asks)

Well if you use the same cable on a computer with that drive that will tell you if it works or not.

There are a lot of Imation Apollo 2.5" HDD I hope its mains powered.
