Rescued Wii from BSOD with a new error message greeting me

Hello everyone, let me first start out by saying I'm no stranger to Softmodding Wii's, I have done over 10 of them, some of them have been easy while others have required a bit more work to fix up. I also wanted to say that I really like the community here and there are some very talented individuals who post. Which is why I'm about to tell you my current problem after rescuing a Wii from a Black Screen Of Death.

I followed the direction of the number of people who were able to rescue Wii's from the BSOD from installing a Bluetooth Module. I stripped the Wii down to the core, where only the bottom of the plastic case remains, everything else is exposed. I even disconnected the DVD Rom Drive because it wasn't functioning. After installing the new Bluetooth Module I was able to load up into the System Menu and install The Homebrew Channel and all the cIOSes that would make my games run off of a external USB Drive successfully but this is where my trouble started again....

I am getting an error message after a delayed startup of all games I try to play that says: "An error has occured press the eject button remove the game disc and turn off the power to the console." I have had a few other consoles with bad DVD Roms with homebrew installed successfully on them but none of them actually had the DVD Rom REMOVED....so here is my question, by disconnecting the drive did I bring this error message out at me and how would I go about correcting it?

Let it be noted I can still access everything okay, including The Homebrew Channel and the Wii System Menu I just can't play any Games.

You have a mixture of d2x wads

Its strange you don't have IOS20, IOS30, IOS50, IOS51. You need to install IOS40 download ModMii6.3.1 and run ModMii.exe from Windows. Use the SU option from the main menu and find the location of the sysCheck.csv from the sysCheck which is on the root of the SD card. That will download all missing wads and apps to COPY_TO_SD sub folder just add all files and folders to the SD card.

ModMii only installed 2 d2x v8.0 wads download d2x v8 Final wad pack and put these in the wad folder on the SD card, install all 7 wads with Multi Mod Manager (MMM).

You really need a compatible mains powered hard drive to add the games onto.

I did everything you asked, and it still gives me that error message. What happens is everything loads up in WiiFlow, I click a game, the load bar loads up a 4th of the way and hangs....then nearly 30 seconds later the bar loads up the rest of the way and it hangs on a black screen for awhile then in big white letters is says: "An error has occurred, press the eject button, remove the disc, and turn off the power to the console." It also says something about looking in the Wiimanual for an answer.....but we all know that the wiimanual can't help us here, . Keep in mind i installed homebrew without the DVD Rom being hooked up, it won't work at all, but I figured I didn't need it because I have a USB drive with all the games on it. That USB drive was hooked up to other wiis that have homebrew installed and it worked fine with them. I have never modded a wii without the drive being hooked up though, do you think that caused it?

Well there is nothing wrong with that new sysCheck. You don't really need the DVD drive if the USB drive works.

Does it show any error number?

No error number, just SOMETIMES it says "disc loading...." which fades in and out before showing the error message "An error has occurred, press the eject button, remove the disc, and turn off the power to the console." I feel like someone somewhere knows the answer to this problem because I've read others experience it after playing Call Of Duty, I did a quick search on google, but no one responded with a direct answer to that problem so far, the best answer was "Send it into nintendo for a repair" but they replace your unit with a new one, I believe its one of those problems that requires a reflash of its operating system to fix.

Is it possible that reinstalling the homebrew channel might fix the problem or install it to a different IOS? I also looked at my last syscheck again and noticed that IOS51 was missing, do you have one that I can install?

My IOS51 is missing. How would I go about recovering it if it is the cause of the disc loading error?

If you want to make your own wads use NUS Downloader - WiiBrew (update the database first) that will make IOS51-64-4864.wad which you install with Multi Mod Manager (MMM).
