Hey Guys,
I just followed this guide How to Store/Load Wii Games via USB Hard Drive on System Menu 4.0 [Slick Tricks Part 2] (sorry it was before I found this forum) and everything seemed to go flawlessly until the last step.
With my External HD plugged in, the second I try to do anything in homebrew I get an "Exception (ISI) occured" followed by a series of hex codes, then a line saying "Stack Dump:" with nothing after it. If I press any button on the wii (power, reset, eject) it says "reloading" and does the same thing again. This will also happen if I start the USB Loader GX, and while it's counting down (looking for a HD) I turn the HD on, it will do the same stack trace. If I keep the HD off, or unplugged, everything works. Of course it's useless without it...but maybe that will give you some clues. Has anyone seen this before?
The HD is a Toshiba 1TB "Desktop External Harddrive", model number: PH3100U-1EXB
