Guitar hero 5 possible?

Hi all,

I was wondering if somebody could confirm what I am thinking please?

I have a wii that is unmodified. Using one of the two tutorials near the top of the thread list on these forums (depending on which version software my wii is running), is it possible to softmod my wii and then download from the internet, burn onto a dvd disc and play guitar hero 5?

i already have the wii wireless guitar from guitar hero 3 legends of rock so that should be ok right?

Yes, that sounds perfectly possible to me.

I haven't tried GH5 myself but I have all the otehr Guitar Hero games playing fine on my softmodded Wii.

any chance u could tell me where u download your games from?

Also, this is probably gonna sound stupid so please pardon my ignorance but if I softmod my wii I can still play original games on it right? And I can still play multiplayer via online on both original and backed up discs right?

I'm softmodded and have go online no problems

Guitar hero 5 runs of ios 223 so if you want to run from disk you will need to install cofigurable loader that can accept dvd mounting read this post about installing ios 223 guitar hero 5 usb loader gx can mount dvd drive if I remember correctly.

I had a big prob with this game! best an the most easy way to play is get the latest u loader it works a treat, you should be ok online but i could'nt get on for ages, as soon as i tried a legit game online all my copies were fine, strange prob for me because i new it was connected to the net but all i had was copied games!
