DS LITE EWIN2, HELP

we dont have a ds setion so its in the nearest to setion.


just bought a ds lite for the missus birthday it ame with the ewin2 card and it had 5 games on that work ok. any games ive tried to add from the disk supplied or ones ive downloaded wont work they just give me either black screens or white screens.

laptop has a card reader/writer for the sd card so ive been putting the ard in the laptop and using the ewin tool to send the games to the disk, but as said they wont work.

any ideas as to what im doing wrong?

the ds has been flashed so the old owner says, it plays nintendo dogs and mario and mario cart just not any of the new ones ive put on, so the card works,


its the latest version on the card too and latest software to load them on.


think its something to do with the rom list.txt it has with the tool, its got a list of games with what look like keys nest to them but they only seem to be older games.


either a firmware thing on the ds itself or the card hasnt recieved any updates for newer games i think.

never heard of one of these the kids have r4d card and its the dogs balls the kids just download and install the games they want and never had one that not worked .. wots this one do then

same shite apparently but it doesnt. state it loads ALL games ect...load of tosh it,ll only load the old games and its got little or no english support, id advise anyone to steer clear of them, only reason i have one is it came with the ds.


looks like im going to have to cough up for a r4 or one of the dstt ones.


still it saves money in the long run, didnt even buy it for me its for the missus but shes happy for now as it does run that dog game.


btw this thread is where my laptop died last night, im just waiting for one more thing to happen.

car gearbox went ,laptop crashed and died on me and they come in threes.

done the kids ds with the R4 card simple to do you gotta folk out 30 odd quid but save a fortune on the games ..i just followed the tuts on youtube and way to go .

The dsone hdlc is a better card with instant save and support for large microsd cards. Chris @ supercardstore still does them if you mail him.

with the R4 card they dont do the driver installation disc no more but you just go to the R4 site and download the files form here R4,R4DS kernel Downloads-Revolution for DS-NDS,NDSL,Flashcart,CleanROM

did you buy yours from that seller,oneof the reviews is slightly less than impressive stating its a clone or a rebadged version.

sorry to jump in here ...thats the same one i got ,but make sure you get the perfect partner bundle just below the main one other wise youll have to buy the sandisk micro card seperate ...but same site i got mine from no problems with it.

ive seen some good tuts for the R4 on youtube and i think this is the best .
