best method for success is to burn using ImgBurn, at full speed on DVD-R (Wii's hate DVD+R)

do you have a cIOS or a modchip?

i would personally recommend USB Loading..discs r for noobs

The game and hacking method play an important roll.

Generally Wii's are pretty forgiving regarding burn speed and disc type, most will play +/- no problem.

What I actually think what is happenening is that you have opened the ISO file and tried to burn the contents, this will not work.

Depending on the setup of your computer (Winrar) it may be set to show ISO files are Rar files, this means that you'll be looking at an ISO but it will have the Rar icon.

Tell your computer to show file extensions for known file types and make sure you are burning the single ISO file and not the contents.

All mine burned at speed x8 with nero8 with no problems!
DVD-R is the recommended media by most!
          Whatever!!

Depending on which softmod you used some games might need to be patched when the rar files is unpacked double click it(whatever software you have for burning will identify it) and burn it at 2x speed with minus disc plus discs are for films minus discs are for data

                wii game burning

simply right click winrar file then click open with and guide to your burning software and you shouldnt hae any problem burning your games

this is my method, burnt over 200 DVD no problems

the ISO file needs to be extracted from the RAR/ZIP
once extracted use BrickBlocker or Wui to remove the system update partition and also change region to EU
using Nero 6 burn image of ISO file and burn at 2x

above method done and has never failed

also use decent DVD-R - Ritek I find to be best.
