how to copy a hard drive help

hi a friend of mine has a hard drive for his wii with over 150 games on it, is it possible to copy this hard drive onto another hard drive so i can use it on my wii

just want to know if i can connect the two hard drives to a pc and just do a straight copy

also my wii has been softmoded with the first bannerbomb hack
and its on 3.2e dont know if this makes a difference

also is there any way of updating my ios to rev 14 without my wii being connected to the internet

any help would be great and could you please explain in idiots terms cause im not that up on this yet

use wbfs manager2.5 to read the hd and format them. u can also insert and extract games from it. u can download softmod packs with ios files in to update ya wii.

u can just use wbfs manager 3.0 it has a function at the bottom of the program which says copy to another hdd or something

it stand's for hard drive m8

managed to do the hard drive without much bother cheers all
only one know is what usb loader do i use and is there anything else i should do to the wii aswell as a usb loader

and the last one is how do you instal the usb loader
(idiots step by step if poss please)
