cios update

how do i update my cios? my current cios is rev 10 and i need cios rev 14 for neogamma r7 to work correctly.
trying to get wii fit plus to work but keep getting error 002

just tried and nohing,started by copying

cIOS38_rev14-Installer.zip
to sd card at first copied all from download nothing happened
then i just put cIOS38_rev14-Installer.dol onto card still nothing

i am installing through the home brew channels and internet connection is working (tested) when i go in2 hombrew channel it dosnt come up with any files just the blue bubble screen and the geko and internet connection in bottom corner.

any 1 advise me

Ah sorry m8 forgot to include the Installer bit.

whats the installer bit? thought i had sorted it but just got blue scren again.
does thsi software go on to the soft mod sd card and can be removed after it has installed?
i have 1 wii run from disk and other from hd
