looking for help

Hi sorry of this has been asked before ,i have found similar posts with similar probs but not the exact so here we go

installed wasabi dx in to wii everything went fine (i think) anyway all original games play but my back ups are hit and miss

mini ninjas ..plays the introduction right up to start of game then '' cant read disc consult manual ''

indiana jones staff of kings ..plays up till start of game then ''cant read disc''

Family party 30 outdoor games ..works like a dream

starwars republic heroes plays up to main screen then ''cant read disc message

all games have been burnt using img burn and are burnt on verbs, after reburning indiana jones is now running ok burnt at 4x instead of 2x , family party was burnt and still runs after 2x so i dnt think it is a speed issue.
all other games have been burnt at speeds from 2x to 8x and all failed miserably.

the wasabi chip was purchased this week from the hanger so i presume the firmware is up to date (is there way of telling)?.

reading posts i think it might be media as i am using verbs dvd+r and a lot of people recommend dvd-r ,just wondering if people had had same problem ,and if so what was the fix...thanks

Id try some dvd-r disks. I personally use any old disks i can get my hands on. I have never used verbs even though everyone recommends them, Tesco dvd-r always do the business for me.

Thanks kettle ..forgot to mention iam on 3.4e , dunno if that has anything to do with it ,anyway i'm off to asda get some dvd-r try them,tesco is to far away

tried the asda dvd-r...... success all games burnt are now playing ...thanks again kettle
