Wii games backup

Hi everyone. I want to back up my Wii games, (they're starting to get scratched). Am I on the right track by downloading and using coverfloader?

Most of the USb loaders will rip a game to a usb hard drive. Try Configurable USB loader. This loader will work on a FAt32 partition so you can use the drive for other things too. Once loaded press (+) button, insert a disk and it will copy to the hard drive.

I've had my wii for awhile and im curently on 4.1 firmware and i would like to play import games on my wii. What do i need to do in order to play them. I really dont want to burn wii games but if that would be easier than i would.
