Need Heelp on usb Loader on wii

Right guys i have read all the tut's and seemed to have drawn a blank.
I have 4.1E and have used banerbomb to load homebrew, then used the sticky Wii USB HD Loader( all files in correct place)
When I load the cios it gives me an error -1 or 2011.
run the loader it tells me i need cios 222 or 249.
What am I doing wrong, sorry to harrass you guys but new to the wii scene, as I'm more of a Xbox man but the kids want Super Mario. one other thing i have had it chipped with the d2c chip, does that make a difference.

also while i'm at it should the loader become a channel, as all i have is homebrew.

Thanks in advance. (pulling out hair)

Glad you got it working m8, I'm clueless when it comes to running a hard drive off your Wii, burn everything to disc.Maybe your drive is not compatible ?, someone else who uses a hard drive should be able to answer your ? though.
Ok load the forwarder-UMRD.wad through wad manager, make sure your sd card is in the slot before loading it, run it, go back to main menu, make sure you keep the sd card in all the time now as it wont run if it's out, select ULoader channel and thats you.
Try running your hard drive through that way, to use discs, press 2 to load from DVD.
