    USB Loader for MODed 4.1E

Sorry to be dumb but i'm very confused...

I have an early Wii which had a hardmod... can't remember which chip but it was a long time ago and had lots of wires!

    Current Firmware is 4.1E

I loaded the homebrew channel but am not sure what to do next... do I need all the cIOS business if the console is chipped?

    TIA

Yes you need all the cIOS stuff m8, best to update to 4.2E via the net, then follow the 4.2E tutorial, simples.

I feel I am really close already (will give up and take the 4.2E advice if you think I'm not as close as I think!)

Where I got stuck was with dopIOS-MOD

      I was following these instructions...

STEP 5. Run dop-IOS MOD from the HomeBrew Channel. 5a. Press A to continue 5b. Select "Install an IOS that accepts fakesigning" and press A 5c. Press A on <Load IOS from sd card> to get IOS15 revision 523 5d. Press A on <Load IOS from sd card> to get IOS15 revision 257 5e. Press A on <Load IOS from sd card> to get IOS36 revision 3351 5f. Press A on <Load IOS from sd card> to get IOS15 revision 523 5g. Press A to continue 5h. Go up and select IOS36 and press A 5i. Press A to continue 5j. Press A to continue to delete the stub IOS files 5k. Press HOME to exit

5a... to 5g went according to plan. But at 5h I have no IOS36 on the list; just IOS60.

Is this because with 4.1E the IOS I should be patching is not IOS36 but IOS60?

      TIA

Not sure m8, done a few 3.4, 3.2's, 4.0's and 4.2's, if someone asks and they have 4.0 upwards I always update it to 4.2 now, tut is very straight forward.
But to answer your question I'm not 100% sure, dont want to say do it and it bricks it.

          Thanks

I'll do the 4.2E update later and start again.
