    partition wii external hard drive

I have a 500gb freecom (samsung) hard drive up and running on the wii and its great. my question is i will only ever fill half the hard drive if im lucky, so can i some way partition the other half to use on my pc for moves, pics, music etc without losing the wii games data which is already on it?

Some people say they have had success with Partition Magic, but from my experience you will lose some WBFS data, or theTh wii will no longer recogise it.

Best bet (if you can) transfer your games to another HDD and format your wii HDD to FAT32. Then use a FAT 32 compatible loader (like Configurable USB Loader) and you can use as much of the drive for anything you like.
