Just been reading through the posts and a little confused which way to go to update my consol so I can play the latest games which ask for a update.
The wii has not been used for a while with any new games.
I fitted a pic chip which I programed with wiifree hex when I first got it and have not had any problems to date.
It is on firmware3.1e .
I am only intereted in game playing and do not need it to connect to the net.
Playing off a hard drive would be great but off disks would be fine.
Any pointers to get me on the right track would be great
