wii softmod ?

just a total noob here [ and I mean total]
could some one explain if I softmod wii what am I going to get from this been asked buy granson to do this never copied game's not got any idea how or do I give this a miss
and anyway need game to copy ? and if got original why bother

Ok basically softmodding your Wii just lets you play backup games or games that have been downloaded via the internet on your Wii.
There are plenty of sites to download Wii games etc, or someone always knows a Knock Off Nigel who sells "copied games" if your not sure where or how to download them from the internet.
Try softmodding it, plenty peeps on here will help you all the way.
