HELP WII SOFTMOD

Hey guys i am quite a newbie at this. i have been looking over the internet for wii softmod tutorials. my wii version is 3.1e, and i would like to softmod it obviously. but i have seen alot of confusing tutorials and i dont know which one is right or wrong. so, i am asking if someone could point out a recent wii 3.1e softmod tutorial, i havent got zelda: twilight, all i have is my wii, and an SD card to use to softmod the wii. i know i sound really basic, but any help given would be appreciated!!

I upgraded my wii to 4.2E and used the tutorial on DK. Its easy to follow. The first stage your looking at is getting the homebrew channel installed on the wii. I used this video.

Just make sure any files you download are the right ones for your firmware. The links to any files are at the more info box in the video.

Yeh its bannerbomb you use. To summarise.
1.)Go to bannerbomb link in youtube video.Download this file on the bannerbomb page aad1f_v108.zip .
2.)Next download the Hackmii installer-links on the same page.
3.)Now download the homebrew browser-link on youtube page
4.)Make sure the contents of you sd card are empty. Skip this if N/A*You may see a folder called private if you have used the sd card in the wii before change this to privateold.
5.)Extract aad1f_v108.zip to sd card using 7zip,winzip etc.
6.)Go to hackmii installer. extract folder and copy boot.elf to sd card.
7.)Create apps folder on sd card and extract homebrew browser to this folder on the sd card.
8.)Thats the first part for the pc.
