can't install neogamma with wad manager

hope someone can help, ive just softmodded my friends 3.4e wii with the guide on wii download section everything went well untill the very end when i tried to install neogamma wad with wad manager,i get ret= -1 error message ive looked around the net for this error correction and got very confused,can someone tell me how to get round this error please.

Try custom wad manager to install it m8.

i had same trouble but installed it at the start where u uninstall wad 249 if any help worked for me as it was coming up failed at the end!!
