priiloader on 4.2e

when i softmodded my wii 4.2 i had to choose boot ios, ive heard priiloader could help me with a nand backup is it worth trying to install it? cheers

Always worth backing up your nand m8, just incase and very unlikely you brick your Wii.

priiloader

ive tried to install priiloader but get error ret=1 when loading wad in wad manager 1.5 this error is starting to become a pain have you any ideas cheers

Thanks for the advise.I fixed this problem by removing wad manager 1.5 from my apps folder and replaced it with wad manager 1.4,then searched the net for ios70-64-v6687[pached][freeethebug].wad and opened wad manager and installed it without any errors ,making sure i installed the wad and not deleted ios70 cause you would brick.Then downloaded priiloader as a boot.dol file put priiloader in apps folder,started the homebrew channel and started priiloader there, all went well since installing patched wad ive also been able to install neogamma wad and usbloader wad and got them working as a channel rather than from homebrew channel, cheers.

Any chance you could upload those files as I am having trouble getting my USB HD loader working?

ive uploaded some files,hope these help you out if your a bit of a newb like me make sure you read up on installing the patched wad or you could end up bricked,but if i can do it im sure everybody else can good luck.
