home brew channel upside down???

hi ive just followed the 4.2 e tut on softmodding a wii after my lad updated it from a earlier version.
the only problem i now have is the home brew channel is inverted ie upside down when i enter it.
ive tried uninstalliung it and a reininstall but now the homebrew wont let me enter it.
is there a way i can start agaijn ie downgrade the wii or a wad i can use to restore it back to factory settings and redo the softmod ?
all help appreciated and great site thanks.
also i need to do a nand backup a link to do this would be great thanks ..
and a question if i have a wii and brick it can i use a nand dump from another wii to restore the bricked one thanks as i have a spare wii i can use ..

getting there sorted the inverted homebrew

right always good to post a solution to a problem ive sorted the homebrew channel out..
had to goto the hackmii installer and get a diff sd card install it all again and files installed fixed the homebrew being upside down.
also this enabled me to backup my wii as well got nand dump so thats sorted wasent doing it befor..
i did realise i used one of 2 downloads available from this site for some reason there both called 4.2 but one is 21mb in size the other is 19 mb in size ..
i redid the wii with the 19 mb folder this time and seems to be working ok with super mario and uloader (game is on disc not usb) but it will not load via gamma 7 app is there a fix or is uloader the way to go?
also guitar hero 5 doesent work but am testing some other verions later and will post back. just to see if its a bad image.

You just needed to reinstall HBC would be correct way up also read up on cios do a google search installs necessary ios for games hope this helps

I have got the same problem of the HBC being upside down. I tried rerunning the HBC but my Wii just has black screen and hangs. I end up powering off/on to get it working again. Any suggestions?

looney2008 just need a newer version http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ma8-r17-84545/ try this. homebrew channel is often upside down when you update,often the solution is to reinstall homebrew channel again as you said http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-updater-1037/ this is a great updater.
