ok first thanks in advance for ne help. I have softed modded my wii going back the beginning of 2009 all was fine til some 1 messed around with it no i think i have figerd it out just dont no how to fix. right then the normal wii game loader thinks it is usa but the machine is pal the homebrew channel just restarts the machine and its got the wii options semi brick i have tried to reistall homebrew through other softmods but still does not work please if ne1 can help that would be great

M8 from what I can make out of your 1 long sentence, it sounds as if you have loaded a NTSC title and upgraded the firmware from that onto your Wii.
You will have to either update your Wii to a later version of firmware that is on your Wii or have an expensive paper weight.
Use an original PAL Wii game, quite new to update to a newer firmware, or update to the very latest 4.2E via the Wii using your wifi.

Ok sorry about the long sentence i do that somtimes, ive tried to go in to options but get that opera thing and the thing cant read a pal disk to update, so i think it might be proper broke thanks for the advice ne way cheers mate

It doesnt accept an original Wii game now that has a newish update on it ?
Rent a newish game from blockbuster or ask a m8 if they have any newer games you can borrow.

tried with mario and somic at the winter games and the wii just wont read the disk at all mate. Im not sure if it has an update with it how will i no if it has

is there ne way to connect the wii to my com and wipe it back to origenal settings

can uget in to wii options u can reset your wii in there as far as i know
then u can soft mod again

Have a look for a prog called any region changer, that might be able to help you.
Are you using original games in your wii and not downloaded wii games to update the firmware ?

im using original games but they wont read. i had any region changer b4 but every time i try to load homebrew channel it just restarts the Wii so im a bit stuck.
