I am new to Wii, I am running menu version 4.1u, with a hard modded Wii. I would like to back up my originals, but it can be very difficult. I am having difficulty using dvd-dumper, it will not load up. I would like to use a usb-loader, (dump backups directly to hard drive) but am unsure which version I need, and also what other programs or channels are needed.

Any help would be appreciated.

what version of dvd dumper are you using? why not try Digital Kaos - Downloads - usbloadergx-r850 boot.dol if this helps push thanx

I need help

I have tried to downgrade and upgrade my cios version, it does not appear to be taking. none of these usb loader apps seem to work as they want my cios at a different version.
How can I tell what verion I am at, and is it even possible to change versions. It says I am at verion IOS 61 v. 19.26, and menu 4.1u.
I have drive key modchip installed, and working. I just want to be able to run usb loader app to make backups on sd card or usb harddrive.

you want Digital Kaos - Downloads - cIOS REV 14 this should get you up and running,if you already have the latest usb loader then you should not need anything else remember to uninstall the ios you already have installed.
