    Old to New Update

    Hello All,

I've searched and also looked at the Recommended Links
Given to Me when I put the Thread Title in ... So I need a Little
    Help please

I went and Bought a Wii Today from a Well known Retailer in the
United Kingdom, It's "PAL" of Course and has the newer
DVD drive (D3-2) ... So Me thinking its the Latest Wii ...
I'd expected it to be the Lastest Menu Version ... So I done a
Search and Found Great Info on Here on How to Install The
    Homebrew Channel ...
Here's where I'm a Little Stuck ... The Wii is new in the
Box ... So I just quickly unwrapped it and plugged it up to a TV
to find out the "Menu" Version,

The Menu says VER 4.0E ... So I thought "Well theres Great
info Here on Installing the Homebrew Channel on Ver 4.0E" ...
But When I went to look How the Games Channel Looked ...
It asked Me to Update ... I did'nt and turned it off and reboxed it,

Now What do I do? ... Do I install Homebrew on Ver 4.0E ...
or Let it update and then Install The Homebrew Channel?

I also read that You could Install THB on Ver 4.0E and then Update using a Custom Update ...
They warned not to Update Off Nintendo but to update off an SD Card which I presumed uses
    a Custom Update,

So Whats My Best Option Guy's? ... I do know I cant use Dvdr's
and I can only use USB if thats what I wanted to do ... But thats not what I'm really interested in ...
I'm mainly concerned on Which way to Install HBC ... Thanks so Much
