sound to me you have installed cios 38 r17 not neogamma 8 r17,if you have you have two options leave as is and ignore message and install neogamma 8 r17 or download cios 38 r14 and reinstall that then install neogamma 8 r 17.hope this helps.

It appears you know what's what.Have neogamma 8 rev 7.All fine till tried Red steel 2 from usual trusted source.2 green screens and back to wii menu.Would the uloader 4.1 pack maybe solve problem.Note! never did get NSMB to work had to buy

red steel needed to be launched by alternative .dol,dont know if red steel 2 does,uloader is worth having http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-1-pack-89896/ and read this HOWTO: Loading an alternative.dol with uLoader 2.6 or higher (Metroid Prime Trilogy, Wii Sports Resort, Medal Of Honor: Heroes 2 etc) Ade's Softmodding Wii blog also worth installing these isos if you dont already have them put them in wad folder and install with wad manager,and you need to have wii motion sensors,nsmb would of worked with neogamma r8 rev17

when installing wads you can write over the top of old ones or uninstall the old and install the new ios/cios the 2nd option is my preference

Hey, when i try to run a game from disk, this is what happends

Launching Game
Game ID: RMCP01

Then affter a 1 min i get DVD Read Error 1139

Also is there a walkthrought to get the USB loader working? I have a 250gb external HD runs from usb. I've got my itunes saved on it with a few movies and photos, also got a WII folder for a few WII iso's.

Am I missing something here? should i have the games in the root or something.

HD is NTFS btw

is your wii new,if it is it may not be able to play backups as for a hdd guide read this Loading and Playing Wii Backup Games from USB HDD

a year old should be ok check against this Wii Drive Chip Database

I have the exact same problem, my wii is well over a year old,
anybody have any ideas how to fix this

1139 seems to be a error you get when you have a mod chip fitted try different a different neogamma or uloader

working perfect for me with 002 error games now loading up no probs. and dont need sd card in for it to be used.
