    I actually did it!

    Hello All,

I bought My Wii last Week and Last Night sat down and Read all the instructions over again,

Huge Thanks to Ade, Ck-Ok and dell_xps

I got the Homebrew Channel up and running in No Time ...
Uloader Booting Off Usb HD and USB Flash Cards ... And Playing Emu's etc,

    But ...

I can't seem to get a Dvd to Play ... I tried an Original Dvd Film so I'm not sure if thats the Problem? ... Anyway
I installed these Files to the best I could ... I even have a Mplayer Channel ...

    mplayer ce
    mplayer cios installer
    mplayer forwarder

It mentioned Stubs and also gave Me Options on which install
to do etc ... But I really did'nt know so I chose what I thought
was right and they installed without Errors ...

So I insert the Dvd ... Go To the Mplayer Channel and Even
Mplayer in the Homebrew Channel ... Choose Dvd ... Choose
Chapters ... Basically everything ... I hear the Disc make a Noise to start But Nothing ... I have Yet to play One ... It's
not a Big Deal as I have a Dvd Player but I would like the
    Feature to Work ... I have a SoftModded 4.2e Wii ... I updated
it to 4.2e last Night from 4.0e,

    Thanks for Your Time
    John

Hi John have a read of this, it's been a long time since I installed how to play a film back on the wii, I'm sure I used something like this.
    MPlayer CE - WiiBrew

Also try a Wii game on DVD, that should playback no probs, films are totally different ok.
