Can anyone tell me if its ok to perform a Wii system update to version 4.2E ?? My Wii is nearly 3 years old, and it was chaipped as soon as it was purchased. I got it chipped with a Wiikey version1, and i have Wiikey 1.9s update running on the box. My 6 year old lad has gone and accidentally updated to version 4.1E, but everything seems to ok....but he want to play New Super Mario Bros what i have downloaded for him, but its asking to perform another system update and i am not sure if its ok....This chip is supposed to run in stealth mode, can ayone confirm this is correct, and does the chip remain invisible ???

Thanks for that...your reply confuses me a little..I Think that stealth mode means that the chip is supposed to be invisible to all updates designed to affect its operation of being capable of playing back-ups. If you are not sure about this stealth mode operation, how can you be sure it will render my chip useless ?? Have you any past experience with the original Wiikey V1 ?? As i am looking for other users to share info on good Back-ups to obtain etc

new super mario brothers only updates your system to 4.1,there is no discs with 4.2 update on as of yet,so it proberly wants to add a few iso's for the game to run,if you dont wont to update by mistake again switch off connect 24 and turn on your parental controlssigpicComment
