    ntsc/pal

wii console US/NTSC version 4.2. I softmod and now having problems with pal iso. Ntsc iso burn onto dvd+r works fine. Pal version however, the screen scrolls (test on 3 different games). I also mount on usb hd and still the same problem. I was wondering if one of the install steps was incomplete or is iso version bad?

If i want to reinstall the softmod, do i have to uninstall then redo all over?

try these Digital Kaos - Downloads - wiifii 2.3b and Digital Kaos - Downloads - brickblocker use wiifii first then wiibrickblocker copy games using imgburn with dvd-r discs slowest speed, also make sure your tv is set to play pal and ntsc,as playing pal games on ntsc settings can cause the screen to roll.
      good luck

WiiFriied it and bricked it and the result after burned iso with imburn on 3x..... i get a black screen...hmmm...got worse.. 6 coasters and counting...

observation : friied using option pal => ntsc US patched finished without any problems. I used brick and click on the info load it still say Pal. Is that normal?

Second question: I've read that pal works better with usb hdd and has no trouble reading pal iso (region free). But my USB loader ( NG ) acknowledge and read contents on the usb hdd, download game image fine. But when load up the game it either kicks me back to the wii menu or the screen scroll.

nope. I use NG to loadup and using defaults. Should i change those settings for pal versions???

are you talking about options in the NG loader? Did that but doesnt work.
              spitting out : error #002.
Conclusion??? : i think these iso from ng are duds...waste time and bandwith .

Can anyone sucessfully play/run Pal iso on a NTSC-U console?
Apparently i can run retail dvd backups just fine.

You need cIOS 14 or 15 installed and the latest loader
that has the 002 fix preinstalled.
