Wii Bricked - Black Screen on Start Up

    Hi guy's

    Your help would be appreciated!!!!!!!

I followed a tutorial to upgrade to 4.0.

But after upgrading to 4.0, I forgot to install preloader before installing the cioscorp bit.

Now all I get is a black screen on boot up.

    Could anyone help me!!

      No.

What happens when I power on:

The blue drive light flashes once and then nothing.

I've tried the Unbrick DVD and using the gamecube controller to enter the system but no luck.

It's just blank. What can I do now?

Thanks for doing some research, I'm just gutted I've now got a ?180 brick.

Do you think if I sent it to Nintendo they'd be able to repair it?
It's about 1.5 years old so it's out of Warranty.

have you tried savemiifrii, you need a gamecube controller plugged into port 4 the one closest to the back of the wii, hold down all four d pads at the same time,if its a third party controller this will be possible but if its a real controller you need to take it apart and snap off the post that stops you pressing them all at once or try and hold all four pads while the controllers in bits and boot wii

This may sound silly but my Wii does the same thing. Power up drive light flashes then nothing on the screen. I simply press the reset button, wait a few seconds then away it goes... It also does this if I switch from the uloader screen back to the Wii menu it completly locks up so have to press and hold the power button. I think I have not fully installed something but it is a minor irritation.

Hi there. It sounds to me like you need to replace the Bluetooth module. I've had a few with this problem
