Ok guys,
I've modded a fair few wii's and have a trouble some one here,its just been updated to 4.2e today and i cant get homebrew channel on.Went to bannerbomb site and got v2 file and did all the usual,sd card only has private folder and boot.dol in it.
usually with 4.2 you hit the sd card icon to activate the boot.dol file but the wii is acting as normal...it doesnt run the homebrew dol installer????
The sd card is freshly formatted in fat32 and i've used it many times so i can rule that out as a problem.
Can i do this another way or is the latest update hacked....dont think that the 4.2 version was updated by nintendo since sept 09.
Anyone got any suggestions,its got me stumped.
Do newer wiis with s/n lh.......in the serial number have a different drive chip that could cause some sort of upset....dunno I'm just clutching at straws here now.
