How to remove Wii updates

Have my Wii chipped and it will play the old games I have copied all PAL, for some reason has never played NTSC, anyway been gathering dust for ages and tried copying some new games none of which will play do I remove any/all updates? IF SO HOW.
It is a WASABI chip fitted about 2 years ago have updated it twice cant remember what I am on think its 4?

Any advice cheers in advance

why dont you softmod it aswel,it will play all the games no probs then, it will be just has easy as removing updates. it will run PAL and NTSC then.

just updated my last post with the safe 4.2e updater

all will be fine mate you wont brick it honest just take your time and read it carefully, nobody has posted yet that they have bricked a wii with this method..

Nope no joy get to the disc spinning/loading with a Spanish flag my Wii is from Spain.
Burned on a RW disc maybe thats the problem?
getting several options to force several things tried all no and all yes.
Options to load game and language iostried a few variants still no joy loader error 2 and also had 3??

use DVD-R discs only, the rw is your problem mate. use verbatim discs and burn with imgburn at low speed.

WQhat I normally used buy I am out been phoning nephews to scrounge a few but no reply if u thingk thats the main issue good found a few things to download while messing about with it looks like I need to wait on rellies coming home

they were the same errors that i was having until i got some verbatim discs.. and mine works like treat now!!

Just pinched a cheap Woolies disc (shh) off a neighbour give it a whirl till I can get to pcworld tomorrow.
