homebrew browser problem

    homebrew browser problem

    i have added the new homebrew browser to the apps on the sd card but it keeps coming up with can not create a SD/apps?homebrew_browers/temp directory
    and then failed to receive the homebrew list
    where am i going wrong?

    have you accidently locked the card have you? and is it the same card you modded it with?

      no i have not locked the card and its the same card i modded with but i had a problem with the card so i formatted it but put the same stuff back on it. will this make a difference? will i have to start all over again. i still have the homebrew channel and i am on 3.2e

        formatting and putting your files back on it is ok,as long as you formatted it as fat 32,what problems were you having?try making the temp folder yourself on the pc.

          i put the latest homebrew browser on there and started having the problems.
          i formatted it at just fat that be the problem. do i just do like it says on the screen
          SD/APPS/Homebrew_Browser temp directory?

            ok i have done that and now it hangs at homebrew list received.

            there is a bit at the top that says
            mxml: bad control character 0x00 not allowed by xml standard

              try making a folder called temp and put it in homebrew browser folder,card should be fat 32

                      ive had a read around and a few people have had this problem,and solved it by removing hbb from sd card and any other files on the root of the sd card that hbb might have copied there,then downloaded hbb from another source and reinstalled it,give it a go or go back your previous version if that was working.oh just found this on my pc give it a go works for me

                        still not working i have tried yours and it states
                        homebew list file cant ne found
                        then
                        requesting hombrew list and then just hangs
                        i tried the files i have saved but it still dont work

                          hello

                          hello to you all new to is forum stuff but will pick it up
                          can someone help me i put hombrew on my wii but when i put wii iso on disk put it in the will a red box come up with loading but no game comes up
