IOS56-64-v5146.wad

2. Download and run multi cios installer, and install IOS 37 as IOS 223.

3. install softchip with wad manager

4. run SoftChip, make sure to use IOS 223 and make sure the 002 Fix is enabled.

insert backup and away you go

Hi people i have followed these instructions but i am still stuck, can someone pls help?

when i try to install ios 37 as 232 or 222 i get the following msg,

downloading metadata from internet

initalizing network done

net connect failed -26

error making http request

failed to allocate temp buffer for encrypted content

size was 2148483232,


And thats it i cannot do any more, when i go into the softchip channel there is no 232,

very gratefull if anyone can help!

could be your internet is not set up right or the server is down try another day and see if you have more luck

Cheers for the reply, server is not down an i have been trying this for a long time now! mad thing is i can download any updates except this, also when i first modded my wii i could play on line but it only lasted a week then went off,
if i check connection settings through my wii it says theres no prob
any ideas?

I'm getting black screen when I try to load from wii flow I've tried every option I can find with same result is there anything I need to install. I've now tried wad and soft chip install but cannot get this game to run from hdd or disk, any help would be much appreciated.

have you tried using a different loader like soft chip or configurable usb loader?

I have now and have edited the post and by the way I have tried pal and ntsc versions with same result. Am I correct in thinking metroid other m needs the same ios cause i don't have any problems running that with wii flow

did you use multi cios installer, and install IOS 37 as IOS 223.then starting game with 223

I tried that way before installing wad option but when I try to install 38 and 37 merged (the only option it gave me) into 223 I just get a code dump. I'm going to try extracting files with 7zip instead of winrar and give it another go I think I will keep you posted. I have now tried after unzipping with 7zip same result with ios installer whenever i try to install 38 and 37 merged or in fact whenever I try to do anything with it I get a code dump. After installing 223 as wad option when I load softchip select ios 223 enable 002 protection then hit a to start game I get red writing at the bottom saying Exception : [oct] error (DI_ReadID). I have just managed to get it to run with uloader gx is there a channel for this as letting the kids loose with the boot sd is not a good plan the 7 year old is a bit inquisitive but how else would we learn.
