yes this is the fix for the Ashes cricket game freezing

run game as normal

let it freeze

restart Wii

copy this save file from SD card to Wii memory

start game again

select Profile 1 and enjoy the game

I tried to copy ashes file to Wii memory and get message that i have to play the game first on Wii consol to copy save data

My Ashes 2009 is the Aussie copy, which is probably why it won`t work

just start the game but with ios 223 and the game wont freeze.this way u can create all 3 profiles.after the profiles created restart the game using ios249 and play.

I still cant get it working,ive extracted the download and put the extraction on an sd card but it isnt showing up when i insert it into the wii and go to the sd option thing,its not showing anything on the sd card at all? Can anybody help? Thanks....Nags...

Black and White Color issue

ios 223 worked for me to create the profiles. I then put it back to default which is ios249 and was able to play a game, but it's still in black and white. Would the SD card solution resolve this?

try swapping your wii tv settings from 50hz to 60hz or the other way around

for some reason the save files come up as question marks??

If you see ??? as the save game on the SD card this will depend on what version your using PAL or NTSC as they have different save game formats and you can't interchange them.
