usb hard drive

i would like to back up my games to a hard drive and play them from there would i be able to use one of these 3.5" IDE USB Hard Drive Disk Caddy HDD Enclosure Case on eBay (end time 14-Apr-10 19:42:34 BST)
and stick one of my old hardrives in it or do i need something else if so what do i need thanks

Cant see why it wont work my friend done the same thing at it works just fine.
