how to play snes, n64 games

i have a softmodded wii and have access to a lot of snes, n64 wad games.

i've installed 2 different wad games which appear as a channel on the wii menu. but both games crash the wii when I try them.

is there a particular way to play an old skool snes wad game? via an emulator or something?

download snes9xgx415.wad which is a super nes emulator.
Then google '804 super nintendo games' and you will have all the games you know and love.
You will have to create a folder on the route of you sd card called snes9xgx and then 3 more folders inside that called roms, cheats and saves.
so the path for a game would be
        g:\snes9xgx\roms\super mario-all stars.smc
