Softmodded wii 4.1 wont play supermario

Please help !! Last week i paid someone to softmod my wii v4.1 but i now find it wont play supermario.
The game disc works fine on another wii , has he missed something off or maybe put wrong mod on it
i dont want to have to pay out again and gonna try and fix myself (never done this before)
installed is neogamma r8 rc3 ios249 rev 14
homebrew channel
usbloader GX

any advice for this newbie would be greatly appreciated

got it to work by following previous advice on threads..
but i have to keep sd card in the WII , did i do something wrong or is this right about keeping card in or is there something ive done wrong...help !!

if you want to run your wii without the sd card in you need to install neogamma and usbloadergx as full channels

its becuz the sd card loads the alt.dol file that the game needs
